Home Visits

clock12If you need to see the doctor but are unable to get to the surgery due to your illness you can telephone the surgery and arrange for a home visit.

The receptionist will take your name and ask you the reason for the home visit. The receptionist will inform you if you qualify for a home visit following a detailed discussion with you. Please be as co-operative as possible with the receptionist.

If you do qualify for a home visit the doctor will phone you to discuss your problem and arrange a suitable time to visit. All requests for home visits should be rang through to the practice before 10.30am unless in the case of an emergency.

Please remember that several patients can be seen in the practice in the time that it takes to make one home visit. There are also better facilities for examining and treating patients at the Health Centre.
